On Tuesday, Aug. 28, Ricky Gonzalez, 34, of Beacon, entered the Precinct 1 station house in Manhattan and confessed to stabbing and dismembering a 58-year-old female at some point in 2014, said officers with the New York City Police Department.

Officers said the murder took place inside 226 Wilson Ave., in Brooklyn, where the woman, Maria Quinones, 58, lived at the time.

He is said to have hacked up her body and thrown it away in the trash.

"At this time, the female has not located and the investigation remains ongoing," the NYPD said.

Gonzalez was arrested Wednesday following an investigation and charged with murder and concealment of a human corpse.
